It makes it easier to regain the vehicle’s intended course instead of skidding out of control. Recently, this type of feature has been shown to reduce accidents by about 30 percent.
• In addition to stability control features, the M-Class also included front and side airbags. There was also a feature that detected the weight and size of the person in the front seat so it could control the amount of pressure in the airbag in case of a collision. This helps protect smaller passengers like children more efficiently than normal airbags.
