Earlier this week, several employees of Mercedes-Benz USA helped fill three new MB SUVs with food items to ship to Action Against Hunger – a New Jersey-based community service program that helps the needy, elderly and the children in the area.
Ernst Lieb, the President and CEO of MBUSA, said this about the automaker’s involvement with Action Against Hunger: “Despite tough economic times recently, we have been able to maintain a leadership position in our industry this year which reflects the power of the team here at MBUSA.” By helping fill these SUVs with food for the needy, he says, this is just “another example of what is possible when [MBUSA employees] put the same sort of passion and drive for our brand behind benefiting the community.”
