The sales figures only measure the number of cars sold at various Mercedes-Benz dealers all over the world between January and the end of November. Analysts say at least 1,158,200 units were sold during this time period. The amazing thing is that amidst the economic turmoil, that’s only a one percent decline in sales from the same period of 2007.
In Western Europe alone, the sales at Mercedes-Benz dealers amounted to about 683,400 for the years, more than half of the worldwide sales. More than 50,000 of those units were sold in November alone.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is one of the biggest sellers for Mercedes-Benz this year with more than a half million units being delivered to customers in 2008.
